Ladron Peak at 9,210 feet!

All of the photos below were taken five lots to the northeast of this property and are excellent representations of the land and surrounding views. There is a county road that leads out to the subdivison and it is about a half hour drive off the interstate to the area. To the east is a beautiful view of Ladron Peak. Located in the Sierra Ladrones which lies between the Rio Peurco to the east and the Rio Salado to the southwest, the peak is 9,210 feet and the summit is almost 4500 feet above the Rio Grande Valley! Part of the range is included in the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge. Animal species include mountain lion, pronghorn, bear and desert bighorn sheep.

The area is a gentle rolling hill. There are lots of big junipers, wildflowers and cactus spread about. You would need to view the property to see how close the road runs to it. There is a dedicated easement which gives you the right to blade the road. There is power about 100 feet away to the east of lot 535 which can be seen in the parcel map link as well. To the southwest are cool mountain hills. I thought this was a beautiful area with lots of grass! Pretty and Green!

If you are seeking a unique spot with lots of privacy yet still want to be close to the major metropolis this is an excellent location to build your getaway cabin or home! Be sure and click on the Valencia County link at the bottom of the page for some great pictures and further information about the surrounding area. Hard to believe this is New Mexico!

Enjoy! Char the Explorer : )

Subdivision Information:

This subdivision is located in a very unique area and the lots in this subdivision are very hard to come by - at least at the prices we deal in! Located southwest of Albuquerque and Belen it is a beautiful area with plenty to explore! I first drove up to this subdivision through the cute town of Magdelena. This took us over the Salida River and through the old mining ghost town of Riley. What a fabulous journey this was. The second time we drove down into the subdivision out of Belen which is a much quicker route. There is a county road that leads out to the subdivison.

Please conduct your due diligence research and be sure to ask all questions prior to hitting the "Buy Now" button below.

Once you click on the "Buy Now" button we put a Sale Pending notice on the listing and email out further instructions. Within 24 hours we must receive a response to that email that includes your contact information. Payment is due within 5 days unless prior arrangements are made. We often have several interested buyers in the same property and in fairness to all interested parties we keep the property available until someone is 100% prepared to complete the transactions.

We will prepare all documents necessary to transfer ownership and even include a check to cover all recording fees and transfer taxes as well. We will also include maps to assist you in locating the property. It's all part of the $150 doc prep fee. High bidder will have 5 days to send payment by cashiers check, money order, visa/master/discover card or Paypal.

This is not a down payment on a contract!

The purchase price of $4000 plus a $150.00 doc prep fee buys 100% ownership of this property!
