Map of area

This property is a couple miles outside of the town of Concho and about 30 minutes away from Show Low. All of the photos below were taken when we explored this property in 2006. It is the only one we have available in Concho! It sure is a beautiful area and I enjoyed my time exploring this part of Arizona - who would guess this is the desert! It has beautiful mountain views to the south and the southeast. We were able to find the property stakes for lots 7 & 8, one on each front corner as can be seen in the photos below. We also found the marker for this lot. One of the photos shows a line of big rocks which appears to be the back of the property. This property is flat with patches of grass and a bit of malapai rock. The road to the property had been previously bladed and tire ruts were still visable but due to lack of use the roads were overgrown with vegetation.

In this subdivision there were a few houses which had been partially and completely torn down. The concrete pad on these homes were still left as well as a partial wall or two. We talked to someone who said that these were originally built when the subdivision was made years ago. Apparently it was to be a fancy development that ended up failing and they were torn down. They sure are interesting to look at and there are a few photos below of them as well! What a great place now to sit and watch the animals graze!

All of the pictures below were taken of the property and surrounding views. I thought this was a very pretty piece! This would make a great piece of property for someone seeking a getaway in the White Mountains of Arizona or someone looking for an investment property in a growing area. Be sure and click on our Apache County link at the bottom of the page for additional information and pictures about this growing area! Enjoy! These are a few of the locals we saw out in this valley - we actually saw several antelope that day as we spent a long day out exploring this area!

Area Information:

The Pioneer, the local newspaper, announced in its August 2005 issue that a California group invested big in Concho, purchasing the 8-unit motel near the country club plus the land around Concho Lake and around the golf course and existing golf course subdivision. Their intent  is to build a master-planned community with all utilities.

A great park for the kids in Concho Valley!
