Pics taken at the NE corner of lot 779 looking south. Lot is on the right hand side of the road.

These five adjoining lots totalling 13.03 acres are located in Pine Meadows Ranch on the back side of El Morro National Monument in northwest New Mexico near the town of Ramah. We are selling the five lots as a group as they make up a beautiful big chunk of land!!! They each are already subdivided and you can resell them individually however we would prefer to see this beautiful big chunk of land stay together! We also have adjoining parcels to this one available if you are really looking for a big sized chunk of land!

The land to the north is flat with lots of tall trees. It then slopes down a gentle rolling hill to the south. There is a low spot that turns into a deeper ravine to the west. It starts as a more wide shallow area just north of Apache Drive and follows west forming a deeper and narrower ravine towards lot 724. It looks to be a seasonal stream and I spoke to the previous owner who said that she had seen water flowing through it previously!

The propety is very nicely covered in lots of big pine trees - it's hard to believe this is New Mexico! There are gorgeous views to the west of the treed hillsides that were green with trees filtering down them. The lots are flat along the northern part as well as lot 779 and then goes into a rolling hill as seen in the photos. It flattens out again along the south of the properties. I thought this big chunk of land makes up a great place to explore with lots of privacy! It was very peaceful and quiet - I could hear the birds singing!

There is power a few blocks away to the south at the neighbors. You would need to contact the local power company to know just how close it runs. Hickory Drive runs along the east and Apache Drive runs along the south as seen in the parcel map link above. The roads are marked but contact us before visiting as we believe Apache is mismarked at this time. All of the photos were taken when we visited the property in April 2008. It was a gorgeous day and about 64 degrees outside - of course any day exploring Pine Meadows is a gorgeous day!!!

A funny story - we sold this subdivision back in 2004 and 2005. I have had a great time exploring this subdivision! When Derek our newest employee asked me about my favorite areas to explore land, this was one of the two areas I mentioned. I said I sure wish I had more of those to sell. Well a few days later we received an opportunity to buy several adjoining lots there and this is part of that group!! I just love this place and appreciate the opportunity to once again offer property here! Enjoy! Char the Explorer : )

This last picture gives you a good idea of just how big this chunk of land is. The picture was taken from the top of lot 779 and shows the road looking south towards the bottom of lot 727. The land sits along the right hand side of the road. It goes all the way to the top of the hill!

County Information:

Cibola County is home to El Morro National Monument, El Malpais National Monument, The Ice Caves and Bandera Volcano. Click here for a County map showing the national forests and historical sites in the area. Ramah is the nearest town with minimal shopping facilities, groceries, gas, schools and post office. Complete shopping would be located in Gallup fifty miles northwest or Grants fortyfive miles east.

Pine Meadows sits on the back side of the El Morro National Monument. The top of the monument extends out to the South and part of this subdivision is sitting up on the back side of the monument! This can be seen in one of the map links provided above. It is truly a beautiful, clean, well maintained subdivision! The higher elevation of 7200 feet makes this a great escape during the summer months to cooler temperatures. All of the lots were surveyed and staked at the time parcel maps were recorded with the County.

This is such a beautiful subdivision and well worth your efforts in checking out! It is easy to locate the subdivision and pretty easy to find your way around since many of the streets are marked. The main roads have been graveled and the dirt roads are pretty easy to travel. So if you are seeking that gorgeous beautiful spot for a cool mountain retreat jump in your vehicle and check this one out! I love the native feel of the land and it is a very relaxing setting. When I get asked whats the most beautiful areas of all the places I travel to I always include Ramah!

A stunning view of the rich colored rocks in this area and a shopping center near Ramah! February 2005

El Morro National Monument. The backside of Pine Meadows Ranch has magnificent views of the backside of this beautiful Monument!

Prehistoric Cliff Dwellings located not too far from this beauitful subdivison! Indeed an amazing sight!

Entrance signs into Pine Meadows and the homes near the beginning. The subdivision is marked along the way to help you find it.
