Gorgeous views of the Sandia Mountains to the east! Rio Rancho is a suburb of Albuquerque about 15 miles to the northwest as the crow flies. It is the fastest growing city in New Mexico. This property sits on the west side of that city in one of the yet undeveloped units for the most part as seen in the section map link above. It was a pretty time of year when we visited in June of 2006 and pretty wildflowers were scattered about. My notes say "Great Panoramic View of the Mountains and Cool Cactus"! This one acre lot is an oversized lot located between Northern Boulevard and Sandia Sandia Boulevard, which are both major roads in the subdivision as seen in that map as well so you can take either one west out to this unit. It sits almost to the very west of the subdivision near 60th street. There are transmission and power lines that run north to south just west of 60th Street. You would need to talk to the power company to know exactly where the closest power is. The section map link above shows the city limits in a thick black line and this property sits two units to the west of the current city limits! It also shows where the pockets of growth are as it grows from the east to the west and where Intel is located. As you can see the undeveloped units sit a few miles away from the current growth!
